DESCRIPTION

In this rogue-lite hack-and-slash dungeon crawler, you are immersed in the world of Homer's epic poem, Odyssey. As the player, you take on the role of Ulysses, the legendary hero of Greek mythology, who finds himself trapped in the clutches of Poseidon, the mighty God of the sea.

To escape Poseidon's grasp and regain your freedom, you must navigate through treacherous dungeons filled with mythical creatures, traps, and challenges. Along the way, you will discover and wield the powers and mythic weapons of Greek mythology, granting you incredible abilities to overcome your adversaries.

Each playthrough in this game is unique, offering procedurally generated dungeons, ensuring no two runs are the same. With each attempt, you delve deeper into the story of Ulysses' journey, uncovering more about his trials, triumphs, and encounters from the epic poem.

As you progress, you grow stronger, acquiring new skills, abilities, and upgrades that enhance your combat prowess and survivability. You must strategically choose your path, making decisions that affect your character's development and the challenges you face.

The game combines fast-paced, fluid combat with tactical decision-making, encouraging you to adapt to different enemies and situations. Every step brings you closer to freedom and reveals more of Ulysses' captivating story.

HISTORY

Over the course of 10 weeks, a small development team consisting of one designer and one programmer came together to create this captivating game using Unity. Originally, the game was intended for the Sony PlayStation® platform, but it has now been made available for Windows.

Despite being in its early stage of development, we are excited to share our creation with you. The limited development time highlights the team's dedication and efficiency in bringing the game to life within a relatively short period.

While the game may still have some rough edges and ongoing improvements, we hope that you will appreciate the journey they have crafted.
